WHAT REALLY DO YOU LOVE?

On this beautiful valentine evening,
As we lay in our secret haven,
With flowers for bed and our arms for pillow,
You whisper the sweetest words; “I Love You!”
“Oh, I Love You Too!” I cry bursting with tender feelings.

HALT! My love, before you wrap those arms around me,
And bathe my face with kisses,
Pray tell, “What really do you love?!”

Take my hands in yours,
Walk me through your heart,
That I may see through your eyes,
The ME you see and love…

What really do you love?
Is it my form, formed of dust?
These features that change with time?
Or this beauty-of no account of mine?
Tell me Pray tell, “What really do you love?!”

Love me beyond my beauty,
Love me beyond my body,
Love me beyond my brains,
Love me beyond mundane

When I say, “I love you,” I shout it to men and angels,
I know your strength and weakness and choose and accept him still!”

Pray tell, my valentine, “What really do you love?!”

LETTER TO MY DAUGHTER’S LOVER

I might not have another opportunity to say this much to you, so you have to listen attentively to what I have to say to you.

From the day I first held her in my arms, she has turned my life upside down and I couldn't have asked for more.

She is fearfully and wonderfully made just like her mother, I implore you to adore her that way and never stop bringing forth her inner beauty.

I always thought no one will be good enough for my angel, I guess I can’t have her forever, so you must appreciate her at all times.

She might be in love with you now but she has been part of my very soul and means the whole world to me.

I want you to know that nothing in the world compares to my little girl, so worship her like a queen and hopefully one day you will be her king.

She is not perfect and will surely make lots of mistakes but the more you understand her the more she flourishes for you.

There would be times you both would hold different opinions and disagree on many issues, I will need you to have some patience and work through it together.

She is my daughter and there are have been moments when I felt really disappointed by her, you can be disappointed for a while but never love her less.

Her dreams and aspirations are very dear to her and must be given the greatest encouragement possible.

Sing for her, dance with her and play with her. She always needs somebody to rock her world.

Guard her jealously because there are many who would give anything just to spend a moment with her.

You will find yourself sometimes lost in her charm and elegance, always let her know. That way she feels very wanted.

Always find something to make her laugh; it is the easiest way to give her wings when she wants to fly.

She deserves the moon and the stars, so please spare nothing to give her the best of everything.

As you take her out at twilight when it is quiet and lonely, I know what it means but you must realize that the strength of a man lies in the courage to do what is right at the right time.

Please be very careful with her heart, don’t ever take it for granted and if you must break it make sure you do it honourably.

Never mistake her tenderness for weakness she is a mighty woman of valour.

Always remember that I am always watching you.

SUPER EAGLES OF NIGERIA LIFT THE CAF NATIONS CUP TITLE

The Super Eagles of Nigeria today lifted the 2013 Africa Nations Cup in South Africa.

The Stephen Okechukwu led team defeated the Stallions of Burkina Faso by 1-0 in a very keenly contested match. The lone was converted by Sunday Mbah in the 40th minute.

This is the third time Nigeria is winning the tournament with previous success in 1980 and 1994. The coach Stephen Keshi was amazingly the captain of the team that won the tournament the last time out in Tunisia. For the Burkinabes this was their first ever appearance in the final and they did give a good account of themselves with their superlative performance.

Crowds thronged the streets of major towns in Nigeria in apparent celebratory mood. In a country with a lot of social, ethnic and religous challenges, football has become a binding factor for it's people. This trophy has not only restored Nigeria's unity but has redeemed their image in the footballing world.

Conratulations to the Super Eagles of Nigeria from the i-inspire Naija team. Thanks for making us proud.

NIGERIAN RAPPER JUDE ABAGA"S LOVE LETTER TO AGBANI DAREGO: WILL YOU BE MY VALENTINE?

Remember those days in cSecondary School when we used to write love letters to girls we fancy their companionship. Well Jude Abaga has proved that love letters is still an option in wooing a woman with this sweet love letter to former Miss World Agbani Darego. We just thought this will inspire someone out there searching for love in high places. Check it out.

My Dearest Agbani Darego,

Will you be my valentine?

Do give this the utmost consideration. If you will be my valentine, let me say that I am, first, of all men most privileged, and second, about to engage in heavy research about what being someone’s valentine actually entails.
If you will not be my valentine, I must assume this is only because you would prefer me to ask you to marry me. If so, poste haste and with rapidity in extremis, I would, My Sweetling, desire your hand- and as much of the rest of you as possible -in blissful matrimony.
But wait. I traverse ahead of myself. I have not introduced myself. Sure I have spent many hours ogling over your Instagram photos and following you closely on Twitter, but I have never, as it were, had the opportunity of introducing myself.

Governor Peter Obi and Miss Anagor
Sandra Anagor, a student of Federal Government College, Onitsha who emerged the overall best student in NECO and WASC examinations in 2012 has rewarded with a scholarship 2.2 million naira by Governor Peter Obi. Governor Obi announced the scholarship package while receiving her at the Government House, Awka, earlier in the week. The Governor presented the elated student with a cheque of N2, 220,000 to cover for her six-year Medical studies at the University of Ibadan, where she had already been admitted.
Obi who was visibly proud of Anagor’s accomplishments said such performance will encourage him to keep visiting secondary schools in the state to encourage students to take their studies seriously, saying he would soon extend it to primary schools.
Reeling out names of Anambra people who are champions in their areas, Obi said the state would keep on searching for them wherever they are with the view of presenting them as role models to the younger ones.
Sandra Anagor in her remark expressed her surprise at the state government’s gesture, saying that Governor Obi has proved beyond doubt his commitment to quality education in the state.
Sandra’s proud parents, Azubike and Chinwe Anagor who accompanied her to the ceremony disclosed that the resurrected performance of Anambra people in examinations is attributable to Peter Obi’s investments in the education sector.
In her own remarks, the state Commissioner for Education said all thanks would go to the governor for his absolute love for the state.
